J.P. Licks, Davis Square, Mondays, 10 pm.

Each Monday in July, J.P. Lick's is giving out coupons with every purchase for goodies at local area stores. Prizes range from useful things like free J.P. Lick's frozen drinks to less useful things like admission to the New England Sports Museum. Then there's the highly useful but unlikely $1,000,000 grand prize.

But regardless of what you win, you'll have tasty ice cream and socialization. A few of us went last week, and hopefully even more will come this week. (You should come. Even you people in the wrong state. Because where else will you get cucumber ice cream?)

I'll probably keep going for ice cream at 10 on Mondays even after the coupon promotion ends, because ice cream is awesome. And there's sorbet for you crazy vegans.
