Oct. 26th, 2005 01:22 pmWhile wandering around the thin scrap of tree around work, I found the long lost cinder block graveyard. Cinder blocks of every shape and color! A huge sprawling mountain of them, most clearly very old, but some newer. I never knew they made T-shaped cinder blocks before.
I also saw a bunch of mushrooms. There was a huge yellow one that was pinkish at the center (I'll post a picture of that one for
zalice later) under a tree, and a group of flat, tan mushrooms under a similar tree nearby. They were 1 to 2" in diameter and caramel colored with dark brown at the edges. Then there were a bunch of little mushrooms just out in the open in a barren patch of field. Don't know why they were there. They were nickle to quarter sized, tan, and not kind of flat, but not as flat as the other brown ones.
I remember in elementary and middle school, when we'd get asked what our favorite class was, I always felt kind of sorry for the kids who said "lunch", because it meant they must not like the rest of the day at all.
